Experience the ultimate spiritual journey to the abode of Lord Shiva. This special package departing from Lucknow offers a time-saving and relatively comfortable route to Kailash Mansarovar, utilizing helicopter transfers to bypass some of the most strenuous overland journeys. It is designed for devotees seeking to complete the sacred parikrama of Mount Kailash and a holy dip in Lake Mansarovar.
After breakfast, board flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot. Simikot offers beautiful Himalayan views and a cooler climate. Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing.
Begin your day with a thrilling helicopter ride to Hilsa, near the Nepal-Tibet border. From there, walk across the Friendship Bridge and complete immigration formalities to enter China. A Chinese guide and vehicle will receive you for a short drive to the town of Purang
Today marks one of the most significant moments of your journey, as you receive the divine darshan of the Holy Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Take a Holy Dip in the lake, followed by the Mansarovar Parikrama by environmental buses. Overnight at Guest House near the lake.
After the morning pooja and havan, group is ready to drive to Darchen and will travel through Rakshas Taal. Overnight stay at a guest house in Darchen.
After breakfast, drive to Tarboche (12 km) and begin the 13 km Kailash Parikrama trek to Dirapuk from Yam Dwar. Packed lunch will be provided. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp (Dormitory).
This is the day every pilgrim talks about, the most difficult journey throughout the yatra. The last pull to the pass is steep and, due to the altitude, unrelenting. At a dizzy height of 5630m, the Dolma (Tara) La marks the transition from this life to a new one. 200–300 meters below the pass is a view of the lake of compassion, Gauri kund. Further trek on the east bank of the river and reach Zuthulpuk, dinner & overnight at Camp (Dormitory).
This is our last day on Mount Kailash trek. We walk on gradual trek for about 6 kms and reach at a point where the vehicles are waiting to take you back to Darchen and then onward to Purang or Retrace your steps to the border at Hilsa.
Fly back to Simikot by helicopter. Catch connecting flight from Simikot to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Evening – Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Completion Certificate Distribution Ceremony with Farewell Dinner.
Breakfast at hotel, Later, continue your drive to Lucknow, completing your remarkable spiritual expedition to the sacred Mount Kailash and Mansarovar.
Policies & Essential Information
- Prohibited Items: Avoid bringing books, magazines, or pictures related to Tibet, Buddhism, or Lamas. These materials are restricted by Chinese Customs.
- Food Restrictions: Fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, and liquids like ghee or oil are not permitted through the Chinese Customs at Boarder.
- Photography: Do not take photos or videos in Chinese Customs, Army, or Police stations.
- Customs Procedure: Follow instructions given by your guide regarding queue positions at customs and immigration checkpoints.
- Cooperation: Maintain a cooperative attitude with Nepali and Tibetan staff and officials during the journey.
- Booking should be made at least one month prior to departure.
- A clear scanned passport copy must be submitted at least 5 weeks prior to the group's entry date.
- The original passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of travel.
- A booking fee of INR 25,000/- per person is required to confirm your reservation and becomes non-refundable after the naming list and passport copies are submitted.
- 50% of the tour payment is due one month prior to the group's travel date and full payment due 15 days before departure.
- Prior to 25+ days before departure: 30% of total cost forfeited.
- Prior to 15–24 days: 50% forfeited.
- Prior to 10–14 days: 90% forfeited.
- 7 days or less: 100% forfeited.
Once the group-naming list has been submitted, a cancellation fee of INR 25,000/- per person will apply for any cancellations.
